@yoh50 Ok, ok. I'll admit, when I said that we "saved you", that might have been overkill, but we were responsible for the leading the final push that knocked Germany off... until ww2 came along... As for pizza, true, everyone knows that the italians invented it, but we commercialized it! Plus, we have STUFFED CRUST PIZZA! How can you beat that?

@LaughingManLaughs im not denying there was a stalemate at the time, i believe you said you 'saved us' however which i just thought was a little rich considering the limited input america had in ww1, and the state germany was in when america entered. as to food well i think we can all agree you have no claim to pizza thats the italians

@yoh50 Ok... first off, I was talking about ww1 a good 5 comments ago. Secondly, right now, we are talking about FOOD, and how it may, or may not, be actually American. And thirdly, wtf are you talking about? Refresh on the text books a little; yes, we may not have had the dramatic, "rush in, and win the war single-handedly" approach, but by the time we entered ww1, YOU guys, the allies, were in a complete stalemate with Germany, thanks to that stupid military tactic called trench-warfare.

@whooyeeh123 lol I know. I gotta admit, alot of our food isn't exactly native to our country... but it still tastes good! And we are still gonna call it American. And yes, credit goes to the British for originally colonizing America... until we yankees rained on your parade lol.

@LaughingManLaughs seriously your going to talk about ww1? You do realise the Germans were practically finished by the point you were brave enough to come in on. The russians had fucked over most of the best German troops already and the Germans were recruting children into the ranks at that point as they were so desperate, always makes me laugh how the americans try and claim any credit for ww1 when in reality they just helped put the final nail in coffin and pretty much missed the war
